SENFENG recently completed the installation and operator training of a new SF6016PLUS 3kW laser tube cutting machine for a customer in Indonesia. The process was carried out by after-sales engineer Mr. Hu Yuanlong, who provided comprehensive support including machine installation, electrical setup, calibration, and user training.

Machine Installation and Setup

He started by unpacking and setting up the machine, including the material loading platform and securing the machine’s components. The following day, Mr. Hu proceeded to adjust the machine’s horizontal alignment, installed the air compressor piping, and connected the cutting head. The machine was powered on, and initial checks were conducted. However, there were issues with the material loading system, which was not functioning. The engineer consulted the manufacturer to troubleshoot the issue, which appeared to be related to the limit switch and the inverter. The inverter alarm was resolved by the following day.

Troubleshooting and Testing

On the third day, the motor wiring was adjusted, and the loading platform was tested. The limit switches on the platform were calibrated, and the cutting parameters for cutting steel and angle steel were adjusted. During the testing, an issue arose when the material length exceeded the first material stop cylinder, causing a deformation of the cylinder. The part was reordered, and further testing was carried out once the new part was received.

Training and Final Adjustments

Mr. Hu conducted comprehensive training for the customer on machine operation, including shutdown procedures, software operation, and machine maintenance. During the cutting process, a tray malfunction occurred, but it was resolved after the chuck moved away from the material. The machine was fully operational, but another issue was found where the limit switch on the chuck was not being detected.

Final training was provided in the morning, covering cutting operations and production processes. The customer was now fully prepared to operate the SF6016PLUS machine for their cutting tasks.
