On April 12, 2025, SENFENG engineer Ran Zhuang traveled to Saudi Arabia to provide on-site installation and training for a customer who had purchased the SF3015H 6kW laser cutting machine. The SENFENG SF3015H, a fully enclosed machine equipped with an exchange platform, is ideal for cutting various metal materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized plates, and aluminum. The customer picked up the training quickly, thanks to their extensive experience with fiber laser cutting machines. As a result, the after-sales service was completed in just four days.

Installation & Debugging
Upon arrival, Ran began the installation process, setting up the 6kW fiber laser, including key components such as the laser source, water chiller, metal sheets, and wiring. The next day, he focused on the installation of the air and electrical systems. The customer had also purchased an air compressor, which was installed and connected to the system. After completing the installation, Ran conducted a series of tests, including checking for alarms and ensuring all functions were operational.
During the installation, Ran encountered an issue with the platform, which, after operating for a while, was no longer able to move. He immediately began troubleshooting the problem. After checking all control signals, which were functioning correctly, he identified that the issue was caused by the clamp not lifting properly.
To resolve this, Ran manually activated the solenoid valve, which temporarily allowed the platform to function a few times. He also tried restarting the software, which temporarily cleared the issue. However, when he tested the clamp control point again, the problem persisted. Increasing the air pressure did not have any effect either.
Ran continued his investigation by inspecting the platform further. He decided to replace the air hose and solenoid valve connected to the rear door and clamp. After making the replacement, Ran tested the system again, and this time, the platform worked normally.
Parameter Setup & Training
Once the installation and troubleshooting were complete, Ran proceeded with parameter adjustments tailored to the customer’s most common cutting materials and thicknesses. This included settings for stainless steel (4, 8, 10, and 16mm) and carbon steel (3, 4, 6, 12, 18, and 20mm). Additionally, Ran also configured cutting parameters for fiber laser cutting with compressed air, allowing the customer to directly use these parameters in future operations without the need for reconfiguration.
Given the customer’s extensive experience with fiber laser cutting machines, the training session focused on operating techniques and maintenance practices. Ran provided the customer’s technical team with a detailed explanation of the machine’s software functions, basic operations, and daily maintenance routines. Following the explanation, the customer’s team practiced using the fiber laser cutter, with Ran offering real-time feedback and corrections to ensure they fully grasped the necessary skills.
Through this hands-on, feedback-driven approach, the customer quickly mastered both the operation and maintenance of the SF3015H fiber laser cutting machine, ensuring a smooth transition to daily use and maximizing machine uptime.
